1. this 2005 acura tl has been taken care of by the dealership for every major and non major fix, including paying the outrageous $125 for oil changes. just after my warranty expired the dashboard began to crack around the passenger side air bag. i am worried that my dashboard and airbag plate are not safe to drive with. currently there are 6-7 cracks roughly 8"-16" long. acura told me there is nothing they can do except charge me $1500 to replace the dash. *tr

my rear-facing 2.5 year old is able to loosen the tilt-lock mechanism that is supposed to tighten the latch strap on my radian 65sl with his foot. he presses down on it while i'm driving and it becomes loose. i feel that this is a safety hazard. this complaint is a follow-up to my previous complaint, odi #10394383 regarding my radian 65sl, serial #120900960 03603. despite my having proper installation verified by several cpsts, the manufacturer continues to insist that the only problem is that i am not tightening the belt enough. this is not the case as evidenced in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=te4c6yku8_w they have sent me two replacement latch belts that have done the exact same thing. the first replacement they claimed did not work because "an intern in the warehouse took it out of a box of defective belts." eventually, i sent all 3 belts back for "further testing." i was informed by their customer service that there was nothing wrong with any of the belts, and that they were sending me back the original replacement to reinstall. upon reinstallation, it functions exactly the same -- it can be loosened by my 2.5 year old's foot while he is properly restrained in the seat. this is not an acceptable resolution to the problem. the belt they sent me back the second time was the same one that was supposedly from "the defect box in the warehouse." i know because i recorded the serial numbers of each belt they sent me. this belt serial number is ssk -000306-sb-08, lot# 09j1, dom 10/09. i feel that the manufacturer is trying to cover up this problem so as to avoid a costly government investigation. baby trend, inc. expedition elx travel system. model: tj93412. manufactured in: 06 24 2012 hh, lot & qty no: 31810809, ser#: cs 413181tj000809. one or both of the plastic locking paws that lock the seat to the base, have a tendency to stay in the retracted position once the seat is removed from the base. the paws are designed to retract when the handle is pulled, releasing the car seat from the base. the problem is easily corrected by taking your finger and pulling the paw out of the retracted position, prior to putting the seat in the base. if this problem goes unnoticed the seat would not be properly locked into the base. *tr
